Ms. Winans-Korem founded MAGNA Securities Corp. in 1992 and has since earned the highest respect of both the investment community and institutional investors. Since the inception of the firm, Ms. Winans-Korem has successfully developed core Commission Management services such as Transition Management, Commission Recapture, Transaction Cost Analysis and comprehensive reporting. Additionally, she raises capital for private placement deals and oversees marketing and client services. In 1982, she began her career as a registered broker on the municipal bond trading desk of First National Bank of Chicago and went on to hold a number of prominent industry positions including serving as Vice President at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes and M. R. Beal. She holds seven FINRA licenses: Series 7, 24, 27, 53, 55, 63 and 65. Ms. Winans was educated at DePaul University in Chicago where she studied Corporate Finance and Economics.
